The Myth of Eos

Each morning, Eos — Titaness of the dawn — rose from the far edge of Oceanus and drew back the curtain of night with rosy-fingered grace. She did not rush. She arrived, slowly, the way only the most intimate hours do.

EOS was named for this quiet ritual. Here, in the hills above Vrachokipos, the villa greets the light before the island stirs. The pool catches the first gold. The terrace holds the stillness. These are mornings that belong entirely to you.

Tucked into the hillside hamlet of Vrachokipos, on the quiet outskirts of Elia south of Gouves, EOS sits where olive groves meet open sky. The north-coast beaches are minutes away; Heraklion International Airport is a mere eight kilometres from the gate. Everything Crete offers — ancient ruins, harbour tavernas, mountain drives — begins at your threshold.

Good to know

Check-in is entirely flexible via a secure lockbox — your access code is sent before arrival and the villa is yours to enter at any hour, day or night. There is no reception desk, no waiting. Your stay begins the moment you arrive.

Check-out is between 10:00 and 12:00. If you need a late departure, reach out in advance and we will do our best to accommodate, subject to availability.

A minimum of 4 nights is required. Nightly rates range from €650 to €930 depending on the season. Contact us for a precise quote for your dates.

EOS welcomes up to 7 guests across three double bedrooms and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Five bathrooms ensure that mornings are never rushed.

The pool is entirely private — shared with no one but your own party. A generous terrace wraps the villa, framed by the garden and the soft hills of Crete beyond. It is yours from sunrise to the last star.

Heraklion International Airport is roughly 8 km away — about a 15-minute drive. The nearest beaches lie 5 km distant. The city of Heraklion and the ancient site of Knossos are 16 km and 14 km respectively, both easily reached in under 25 minutes.

Smoking is not permitted inside the villa. Pets are not allowed. The property is not suitable for parties or events. Families are warmly welcomed — a baby cot and high chair are available at no extra charge, and the villa's layout is calm and safe for little ones.
